RAZAK Jalil, Chairman

62 years old, obtained his MBA in Computer Information Systems from Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, USA in 1996; MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems from Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, USA in 1995; BA in Finance from Pennsylvania State University, USA in 1986; and Diploma In Investment Analysis from Institut Teknologi MARA (now known as UiTM) in 1984. He is a pioneer student at MARA Junior Science College (MRSM) Pengkalan Chepa.

He was CEO of Augmented Technology Sdn Bhd from 2012 to 2020 with 38 years of experience as Head of Financial Services Industry & Project Manager at SCAN Berhad, Head of IT Planning at Celcom, Head of Multimedia Technologies at Teliti Computers Sdn Bhd, Project Manager at Mejati Technologies Sdn Bhd, IT Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers PwC, Systems Engineer at IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Systems Analyst at Innovest Systems & Services Sdn Bhd and Analyst Programmer at MARA Holdings Sdn Bhd.

ISMAIL Bin Dato’ Haji A Jalil, Chief Executive Officer

65 years old, obtained his Diploma In Accountancy from Institut Teknologi MARA (now known as Universiti Teknologi MARA) has over 40 years of experience in finance and accounting for foreign and local companies in Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Japan and Vietnam.

He joined AugTech in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer. His experience includes 21 years at Mizuho Group of Companies of which 5 years as General Manager in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China at Mizuho Precision Hong Kong Co Ltd; 10 years as General Manager in Hanoi, Vietnam and Hong Kong at Mizuho Precision Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd; and 6 years in Johor Bahru at Mizuho Precision Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd. He was also General Manager at Rajaudang Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary company of Perbadanan Johor).

His past roles and responsibilities include providing Group of Companies financial reports & analysis as well as advice to the President & Head Office in Japan. He also implemented Group Computerised Accounting and Inventory Valuation system. He is the advisor to the Managing Director of all Group subsidiaries include financial, re-investment and operation. He is part of the team lead in the restructuring Mizuho China. He manages and oversees the operation, was team lead towards ISO9001 & 14001 certification, plans and monitors plant expansion, setup and develops the material and production planning system as well as setup the logistic planning.


HAFIZ Othman, Chief Operating Officer

35 years old, obtained his Bachelor Of Civil Engineering from Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur. Hafiz is a certified PRINCE2®, ITIL, Board Of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Quality Management Representative (QMR) for MS ISO 9001:2015 and Internal Quality Auditor has over 12 years of experience.

AugTech citizen since 2016. He manages the Project Management Department, Procurement Department, Service Desk Department and Infrastructure Support Department. He implemented and manages ISMS, Asset Management System, Procurement Workflow System and Service Desk System as well as project lead JejakMyMasjid. He is also the Accounts Manager for Kementerian Luar Negeri and ICU Jabatan Perdana Menteri projects. His background as a construction consultant gives him an edge in the knowledge of Smart City. His experience includes as a Project Manager at Leaderscope Consulting Services.


KHAIRUL Omar, Executive Vice President, Technology

38 years old, obtained his BSc in Electrical Engineering (Control System) from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. Khairul is a certified CISSP, CTFL, CEH, CPRE-FL, ABET, BEM has over 15 years of experience. He has also attended Solution Architecture Security Professional, Hyperledger Fabric Administration (LFS272) training as well as European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)/Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) Quantum Safe Workshop, London.

He joined AugTech in 2016. His experience includes developing and managing projects such as MAMPU’s myGPI, Digital Time Stamping, API and speaker for myGPKI Transformation Seminars; enhancing BNM ePKI; enhancing AutoBilling and DDbilierRegSys for MyClear; improving and enhancing eCourt MPKI and SAPURA single-sign-on system. He is also involved in collaborating with INSPEM, University Putra Malaysia in developing a next-generation cryptographic asymmetric algorithm. He leads and conducts the feasibility of Blockchain technology as well as the development of a Proof of Concept.
While at Intel Corporation, Austin Texas, USA as Product and Technical Lead, he supported Intel ATOM products. As a Senior Component Design at Intel Technology Sdn Bhd, he was involved in path-find new debug methodology and competency for several Intel products. and Software Test Engineer at Motorola Solution Sdn Bhd.


HABIBAH Rahim, Executive Vice President, Business Solution

52 years old, obtained her BSc (Computer Science) from University Putra Malaysia.

AugTech citizen since 2012, with 28 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer at SCAN Berhad for 7 years and Senior Software Architect at Datapower for 11 years. Her experiences include as a Project Advisor for Ministry of Foreign Affairs eKonsular system, Ministry of Foreign Affairs SKMT system and ICU Prime Minister Office eKasih system. Tecnical manager and integration lead for Government PKI, DTS, myGPKI and Trustmark systems. She was also a system integrator for CMMS, POS Digicert KMS System and has designed designed SAPURA S30 system, POS Digicert KMS, eCourt, CIMB ePIN, UiTM ePerolehan, Touch n Go KMS, eFiling, BNM S30 and MAMPU PRISMA. She has also implemented ISMS, BS7799 and CMMi Level 3. She also designed education loan and financial system for MARA.


AZHAR Ismail, Head of Infrastructure Support

Project Manager portal development for Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian Chamber of Mines as well as its members.
